Protein Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup Camino Unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup Camino Bittersweet (71% cocoa) chocolate chips
- 4 Tbsp of Camino Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup of unsweetened organic almond butter or peanut butter
- 2 tsp of organic extra virgin coconut oil melted
- 4 Tbsp of ground almonds, hemp seeds or brown rice protein
- 1/2 cup ground flax seed
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup or local honey
- 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Moisten hands and form into balls and roll into the desired topping (cocoa powder, nuts, coconut, hemp, flax, etc.)
If you find the mixture is not sticking together, add a bit more honey and nut butter.
