Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of fresh rhubarb diced
  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/2 cup of Camino Golden cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup of sifted all-purpose organic flour
  • 3/4 cup of oat flakes uncooked
  • 3/4 cup of Camino Whole brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter OR margarine

Directions

  1. Turn on oven to 350 F
  2. Grease a dish (8” x 8” or slightly bigger)
  3. Combine directly in the dish diced rhubarb, sliced strawberries with Camino’s Golden cane sugar and mix well
  4. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter.
  5. Mix well and pour it on top of the rhubarb-strawberry mix.
  6. Bake for 40 min
  7. Enjoy as-is warm or cold, or with yogurt or ice cream (or their dairy-free substitutes)
